I stumbled upon this “movie” (4 part video below) which details the journey of a bunch of Indian web startups (TringMe, RedBus, LifeBlob etc). Although quite amateurish, with a lot of fluff and even the Top Gun background score(!), it’s a commendable effort and something you can watch if you have 15-20 minutes to spare and a fast broadband (to skip through all the fluff!)
On a related note, one of the best talks I’ve seen on startups in general has to be David Heinemeier Hansson’s (creator of Ruby on Rails) presentation at StartupSchool 2008. It really puts all the hoopla around “free web apps” and “the google advertising model” into perspective.
