10th Edition of Eureka!, bigger and mightier

Another opportunity knocking for the entrepreneural types - Eureka!08, the Annual IITB Business Plan Competition. In it's 10th anniversary, it's much bigger and grander, with total prize money of Rs. 21 lakhs, and a chance to showcase your brainchild infront of eager VCs and to represent India at the Intel-UC Berkeley Entrepreneurship Challenge.

Eureka is easily one of the largest B-Plan competitions in India and provides a great platform for serious entrepreneurs, easily justified by the many successful comapanies over the past years.

So if you have a plan, or have an idea, better start rolling the midnight coffee sessions to meet the Oct 4th deadline. May the force be with you!

Hello, World!

Both Prashanth and I have been blogging in our own little spheres for a while now. So we decided to "synergize" our efforts and interests in computers, technology and startups and start up a new blog. So after a few weeks of deliberation, here it is: desitech.in!

We'll be focusing on the computer industry in India, especially the startup scene in Bangalore (though we hope to cover other major cities soon too). We hope to make it fun, exciting and engaging, with columns on general computer technology, in addition to startup coverage and other articles and exclusives.

We are really excited about this, and I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun!
